BENV0169 — Data Analytics for Sustainable Buildings

I co-designed the complete module with the other module lead for its first cohort of 15 students. It introduces machine learning, time-series analysis, optimization, and control as tools for predicting, analysing, and improving smart-building operations.

BENV0092 — Energy Data Analytics in the Built Environment

Lead · 15 credits · 2025–2027

I designed and currently lead this core MSc module for more than 60 students. It develops practical skills in machine learning, time-series analysis, optimization, and control, with applications spanning energy and the wider built environment. Students work through coding exercises and applied examples using real building-energy data.
